All Endings in LIS True Colors. There are six different endings you can experience at the end of Alex’s journey in LIS True Colors. Stay in Haven. You stay in Haven and start to build a life for yourself in the town. Steph decides to leave Haven and hands over the record store to you. Seek adventure. You leave Haven and pursue a music career.
Max would never accept those 2 choices, she would try to jump in another photo and save everyone. In the game, she doesn't even think to a third choice. I hope Life is Strange 2 gives at least some sort of a happy ending for Max and Chloe. No more Max and Chloe in the s2, I'm sorry.
So I feel that that ending choice can be far more complicated than many people give it credit. If you just go by the explicit aspects of the text, it seems like it is weighted in one way. But when you examine the subtext and how the Wavelengths can recontextualise the core story, the choice becomes much more nuanced.
Again, I am discussing the ending here, so pretty all I am saying below will be spoilers - if you did not complete the game yet, I recommend to stop reading now. Still here? OK. :) The first time I played LIS2, I did so with high moral / high brotherhood and decided to surrender, leaving me with the IMHO second worst ending - 'Redemption' (I disliked only 'Lone Wolf' more).
To be honest, I always picked the Bay ending because it just seemed like the right decision to me but after seeing both endings, I felt bad that people who picked the Bae ending got the short end of the stick in comparison. Both endings are supposed to be equally canon and so it always felt wrong that the Bae ending was so short and empty.
Ending 1 - Sacrifice Chloe The first ending - Sacrifice Chloe - results in sacrificing your friend in order to save Arcadia Bay from a catastrophe - a tornado. Because of the way the creators presented this ending, you might think that it is the "worse" choice, the sad one. Ending 2 - Sacrifice Arcadia Bay
